Would be odd to call a neurosurgeon deluded. But, what I will say here is that the critics have a point in that he could not pinpoint the time of his experience - was it when he was brain dead, or semi-conscious? So if you look at that link for Eben Alexander, there is a much stronger case of a woman named Pam who was definitely brain dead, yet experienced consciousness. She is not so well known since she is not a doctor. I am not sure, but what makes Eben Alexander's case interesting is that he uncovered information in his experience about his long lost dead sister, who he did not know, since I think he was adopted.

Stronger cases, are when they go out of the body, and can relay conversations and details of what was going on outside of the operating room. This evidence is what most people ignore.Doug Webberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11071107950046910342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9030257666913290314.post-16029103623902800372016-03-29T20:23:39.220-04:002016-03-29T20:23:39.220-04:00Yes you are correct, Tolkien hid a lot of informat...Yes you are correct, Tolkien hid a lot of information in his work. For some proof that they are not hallucinations of the brain, see Proof of the Afterlife...from a brain dead neurosurgeon. Plus they are able to clairvoyantly describe what happens around them after they died - including what was said or done outside the room. Saw the video interview of Mrs. Gabriella Magrini - what she describes is not uncommon, several people who have had a NDE begin to experience paranormal abilities. One was Dannion Brinkley, who said he could read people's thoughts for a while (see The Near Death Experience of a CIA Agent. Another one who said he could experience what people were thinking or feeling was Ian McCormack (see The Near Death Experience of an Atheist: Ian McCormack.

These NDEs were described in the 18th century by Emanuel Swedenborg in his work "Heaven and Hell", and in ancient times in the Tibetan Book of the Dead.Doug Webberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11071107950046910342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9030257666913290314.post-17038259599765235872014-08-08T13:17:42.114-04:002014-08-08T13:17:42.114-04:00This article was really fascinating! I am interested in such a matter, even if I could not say I am sure what Near Death Experiences really mean (Afterlife o creations of our brains!). Anyway, all this reminded me of an interesting experience recounted in a wonderful video interview that has been recently done to Mrs. Gabriella Magrini from Rome (Italy). She tells of her Near Death-Experience. This interesting video can be watched by clicking on the following link: http://www.liminamortis.org/back-from-afterlife/wonderful-garden/awakening-hidden-faculties/ I found this video so amazing but my doubts still remain. Ciao! ValerioAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
